New Projects

SeayCo Integrators Inc. and D. L. Neu were recently awarded the contract to design a new wave control system for Unified Western Grocers. Unified is a retailer-owned wholesale grocery cooperative, headquartered in California, that services the Western United States. With over $3 billion in sales, Unified is expanding with a new facility that will combine perishable goods and dry grocery items. The advanced wave control system provided by D.L. Neu and SeayCo will be capable of sorting 140 cartons per minute and will utilize the latest RF scanning technology. Located in Stockton, California, the plant will be operational by second Quarter 2007.

FKI Logistex was recently awarded a contract with Empire Distributors, Inc., a wholesale liquor distributor located in the Southeastern US. FKI will be implementing a new picking, sortation and shipping conveyor system in North Carolina for which SeayCo will provide controls and software. SeayCo will also provide Load-IT, a warehouse control system, and updated controls enhancements at Empire's Atlanta facility.

Installs

SeayCo Integrators Inc. and Conveyco Technologies recently installed a successful system for Alaska Distributors new warehouse in Seattle, Washington. The system included Load-IT, SeayCo’s warehouse control system, which interfaced to Alaska’s Priya host system, and SeayCo controls. SeayCo also plans to integrate pick engine hardware with its own pick-to-voice software system.

Upgrades

SeayCo Integrators, Inc. will be upgrading a previously installed tote routing system at Suzuki Motors, Marietta, GA facility. The existing system, installed circa 1998, will be modernized and stabilized with a new server, modern client PCs, and new Serial-to-Ethernet converters.
