Seayco Integrators, Inc., as a sub-contractor to D.L. Neu & Associates has been awarded a contract to add two three-level pick modules to the new Unified sortation system in Stockton, CA. The sortation system is scheduled to go live in October 2007 and the pick modules to be operational by February 2008. Seayco also provided a simulation of the complete system to Unified to help the customer determine bottle necks prior to start up of the system.
Seayco and Intelligrated have been awarded a WCS upgrade for a premier direct seller of essential kitchen tools in Addison, Illinois. The original system was installed in 2003. The upgrade will add a second level pallet flow and will redesign the pick modules from two picking areas to four picking areas. The server hardware will be upgraded to a RAID system to help improve overall system performance.
As a sub-contractor to Intelligrated, Seayco Integrators, Inc. is implementing Route-IT (the Seayco carton routing system) for UPS/Sprint in Louisville, KY. This is a fast track project which was awarded to Seayco in April and will be turned over to the customer on August 1, 2007. This system will utilize Seayco's latest release of our generic tools in C#. (See new products for a description of the new tool set.)
Seayco will be working with FKI to provide electrical controls and field wiring for a system that incorporates a conveyor or feeding a palletizer and removing completed pallets. The controls will be done using Rockwell Control-Logix with a Wonderware graphics package.

Seayco is migrating its sortation and WCS software to a new platform that is modular, flexible and represents the system configuration and status in a more visual and meaningful way. The new platform is written in C# using Microsoft's .NET 2.0 framework. This new framework includes built in QA and revision tracking processes that allows Seayco to evolve the system with interchangeable parts. This allows Seayco to provide systems that have a much higher commonality, improving reliability, development time, support and system costs.
